This 6 piece set is ideal for blocking smaller detail areas to achieve a perfectly flat finish, especially in the initial stages of slicing clear coat and removing peel.

When used with coarse papers the blocks are great for roughing filler in detail areas and feature lines. For sanding primers and surfaces, the hardness will cut highs quick and not allow the block to "fall" into low areas. Combined with adhesive backed abrasive paper or folded regular papers they are small enough to fit in between panel gaps to tune and square up edges.

When working on the initial stage of cutting back clears the combination of material and thickness provides hardness yet offers just the right amount of flexibility. The first cut of clear is crucial to achieve that glass finish.

Material used is especially formulated to be extremely abrasion resistant, dimensionally stable, waterproof and solvent proof for cleaning.

Ideal grit range for these blocks -
Fillers, primers, surfacers: 120 grit - 400 grit
Clear (initial cut): 800 grit - 1200 grit
