POR-15 Alloy Prep Soft Metal Etching (formerly AP-120 Metal Prep) is designed exclusively for use with our 2K Urethane Clear and POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating Clear, Alloy Prep guarantees perfect adhesion of POR-15 2K Urethane to any metal surface, especially chrome or polished aluminum, where good adhesion is often difficult to achieve. This alloy/aluminum prep for paint is non-flammable with no noxious fumes.

Wear rubber or latex gloves when using this rust remover for aluminum.

TIP: When applying to Aluminum or other alloys, first test on an inconspicuous area for staining or discoloration. If staining or discoloration occurs, dilute Alloy Prep 50% with water and retest.
